About The Position

The Financial Wellness Coach (FWC) in the Women of Wealth Program is responsible for guiding and educating participants to improve their financial well-being and achieve entrepreneurial goals. This role involves teaching essential skills in money management, financial literacy, and the use of technology in finance, with a focus on empowering women towards financial independence and entrepreneurial success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in financial coaching, advising, or education.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial concepts effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for group training and individual coaching.
  • Genuine passion for financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
  • Ability to independently organize work and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle check.
  • Must complete and pass Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in developing educational materials and resources for financial literacy.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in finance and entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive financial education courses and workshops focusing on entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of the program's financial education curriculum.
  • Monitor and track participants' progress towards their financial and entrepreneurial goals, providing feedback and adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with participants to assess their financial situations and create personalized financial plans.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for participants, encouraging active engagement in the program.
  • Utilize technology for meeting, presenting, documenting, and marketing purposes.
  • Represent GKA and the program at relevant community meetings and provide outreach services.
  • Create business plans and connect participants with resources for third-party reselling.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in entrepreneurship.
  • Promote an environment of workplace safety and adhere to safety requirements.
