Your Role at Delta Faucet Do you have high financial competence and systems business analysis experience? Do you enjoy creating stories using data visualization tools to influence business decisions? Then this may be the role for you! The Financial Manager- Technology has the core responsibility of supporting the Finance organization to renovate the retrieval and presentation of data, reducing the time to insight and manual interaction. This role will work to build and improve processes for streamlining financial reporting across the organization through increased use of existing technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Data Science, Business, Computer Science or other related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management required leading projects from conception through implementation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to interact and influence both business and technical teams at all levels.
  • High level of competence and proficiency in Excel-based financial analysis and modeling; prior Power BI expertise, or similar tool, is required and SAP experience is preferred.
  • Skilled in analytic tools and languages including Power BI (Advanced DAX, data modeling, RLS), Databricks, Azure, SQL, Power Query and Power Pivot in Excel.
  • Have a detailed understanding of dimensional modeling concepts.
  • Must possess the ability to optimally handle and communicate problems that are varied and often non-repetitive across all levels of the business while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Candidate must exhibit a high degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgment, initiative, and a high standard of ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Convert business requirements into technical specification; build, prioritize, and manage multi-stream project plans while completing deliverables to meet timeline goals for the Finance organization.
  • Develop data models, reports, visualizations, and dashboards using Microsoft’s Power BI enabling self-service reporting for end-users.
  • Leads data governance, report distribution, training, and support for Finance organization.
  • Coach and mentor Finance team members to improve technology proficiency, drive process improvements, and promote continuous learning in digital tools.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Finance representative in Delta’s Business Intelligence Leadership Team; owning Finance BI workspace, report certification, and new idea submission process.
  • Supports Internal Controls and Finance Leadership Team to leverage in-scope systems increasing automation of control environment.
  • Work with internal Finance team and IS to facilitate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, acting as the liaison between the two functions.
  • Synthesize sophisticated data into consumable views to be used across the organization.
  • This role allows for much individual work but also participates within team settings; primary business partners are Finance (FP&A, Accounting, Internal Controls), IS, and Analytics teams.
  • Build, maintain and implement 2–3-year Finance technology roadmap to ensure alignment with business strategy, optimize processes, and drive long-term digital transformation.
