About The Position

Graham Technologies is seeking a Financial Systems Support Analyst to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 functional application support in a federal help desk environment. This role is business-process and application-focused, supporting end users of contract management and financial systems, with primary emphasis on Appian and PeopleSoft platforms. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting ERP or workflow-based business applications and a working understanding of federal finance and acquisition processes. Location: Reston, VA

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • CI Polygraph or eligibility to obtain one
  • Experience providing Tier 1-2 support for functional or business applications
  • Prior experience supporting ERP systems, workflow platforms, or financial/contract applications
  • Understanding of federal finance, contracting, or acquisition processes
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to support non-technical users
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transaction-driven federal environment

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials
  • Experience with Appian or similar low-code/workflow platforms
  • Background supporting federal financial, contract, procurement, or acquisition systems
  • Exposure to Defense Travel System (DTS) or other government transaction systems
  • Experience supporting EOFY or surge financial processing periods

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 functional support for federal users of contract and financial applications
  • Assist end users with business process workflows, data entry, approvals, and transaction troubleshooting
  • Support users of Appian-based workflows and PeopleSoft Financials, including navigation, error resolution, and process guidance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related inquiries, not hardware or infrastructure issues
  • Ensure accurate and timely transaction processing within financial and contract systems
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, functional SMEs, and technical teams to resolve application issues
  • Support end-of-month and end-of-fiscal-year (EOFY) processing activities
  • Assist with account validation, reconciliation support, and data accuracy checks
  • Document issues, resolutions, and workflows in tickets, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of program documentation and SOPs
  • Provide user assistance and informal training (e.g., walkthroughs or brown bag sessions) for financial and contract systems
  • Participate in application testing, validation, and release support as needed
