About The Position

This leader will play a pivotal role in the management, support and development of the Financial Systems function and cover all aspects of application and technical support of the firm's financial systems. The hire will be facilitating and developing the use of systems and technology across the firm globally, promoting best practice and liaising with senior stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a similar field of study is required
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience with large scale financial management systems
• Proficiency with SQL query logic, relational databases, and report writing experience
• Solid understanding of finance business process cycles, including accounting principles and common accounting terminology

Responsibilities

• Provide general system and end-user functional support of Elite 3E, Chrome River, and online reporting
• Collaborate with various finance areas to assess application security, identify enhancement needs, and drive process transformation initiatives
• Trouble-shoot system issues and identify system improvements to meet user and business requirements
• Management of day-to-day system maintenance tasks, analysis to ensure data integrity, and quality assurance activities of upgrades and enhancements
• Create, test and deliver financial reports and other information to the organization
• Liaise with third-party vendors to rectify problematic issues
• Provide month-end support to the global Finance department and perform month-end closing
