About The Position

The Finance Systems Engineering team is a hybrid function that bridges the gap between financial operations and software engineering. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing robust, scalable systems that support the company's financial processes - particularly those related to Financial Reporting. Requirements

  • Career individual contributor in a professional role.
  • Works independently, receiving general instructions on new assignments, and a review of outcomes for technical soundness.
  • Possesses complete knowledge of role.
  • Applies a broad range of theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to assignments containing some elements of complexity.
  • Majority of work is spent both independently planning and completing the design, implementation, and/or delivery of processes, programs, and/or policies.
  • May coach, direct, oversee, or review the work of lower-level professionals.
  • Networks with more senior internal and external stakeholders who may be unfamiliar with the area of specialty.
  • Bachelor's degree or additional role-relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, change focus quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Oversees technical / non-technical Partners and clients to determine business requirements
  • A high level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive or restricted information
  • Ability to self-schedule and maintain productivity
  • Capability to perform and verify complex mathematical computations
  • Proficiency in developing analytical testing plans
  • Strong investigative skills
  • Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with applicable laws and regulations of audited areas
  • Ability to provide risk and control consultations
  • Ability to foresee emerging issues and take action to minimize negative impacts or maximize benefits
  • Proficient in multiple programming languages, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Proficient knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g., SQL, SBase, MaxL, BBA)

Responsibilities

  • Leads the designs and development of advanced finance system solutions, with a focus on cash flow forecasting, reporting, and automation.
  • Architects and implements integrations between ERP, treasury, and data platforms.
  • Drives system testing strategies, including automated testing frameworks.
  • Partners with Finance leadership to evaluate and implement new technologies.
  • Mentors Assoc Engineers and Engineer I Partners and contributes to technical standards and best practices.
  • Ensures compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Sets up user accesses and trains users on application
