About The Position

Help us modernize how the federal government converts complex financial data into meaningful insights that drive informed decision-making and accountability. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical data architecture and financial integrity, ensuring a federal agency has the transparency and reporting accuracy needed to meet internal standards. What you will achieve Deliver Data Insights: You will design and deploy sophisticated Power BI dashboards that transform raw financial data into clear, actionable intelligence for decision-makers. Ensure Financial Integrity: You will develop automated reconciliation models using Power BI and D365 data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring 100% accuracy in financial reporting. Modernize Reporting Workflows: You will leverage the Power Platform—including Power Apps and Power Automate—to streamline data collection and automate manual reporting tasks. Bridge Technical & Financial Needs: You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex accounting requirements into intuitive Dataverse-backed solutions and visualizations. Requirements

  • US Citizenship (no dual citizenship)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Extensive experience building complex dashboards and performing financial data reconciliation with Power BI
  • Hands-on experience navigating and extracting data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance environments.
  • Strong proficiency in leveraging Dataverse as a data source and using Power Apps/Power Automate for solution enhancement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with federal financial management standards or government accounting principles.
  • Microsoft Certifications (e.g., PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst or MB-300 Core Financials).
  • Experience with SQL or DAX for advanced data modeling and transformation.
