The Red Gate Group is seeking a Financial Systems Help Desk Analyst/Systems Accountant to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This role focuses on assisting end users of NGA's financial management systems (Momentum, GEO-F, ORBIT) by providing troubleshooting support, resolving technical and functional issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The position requires strong financial systems expertise and customer service skills, with a focus on helping users navigate and optimize NGA's enterprise financial tools.

  • Serve as a primary help desk contact for NGA financial system users, responding to questions and resolving technical/functional issues.
  • Support user access, account management, and permissions for financial systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting system errors and escalating issues to technical teams as needed.
  • Provide guidance to users on financial processes such as budgeting, accounting, and reporting within NGA's systems.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, FAQs, and training guides to improve customer experience.
  • Support testing and validation of system enhancements, patches, and upgrades.
  • Track, document, and monitor service requests and incident tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Participate in working groups and meetings to represent user issues and provide feedback on system improvements.
  • Assist leadership in identifying recurring problem areas and recommending solutions.
  • Provide limited support for audit/compliance activities (FISCAM, SSAE-18) by ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Active TS/SCI
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • 8+ years of experience in federal financial management, including programming, planning, budgeting, execution, and/or accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess federal financial business processes, develop systems options, and implement solutions.
  • Specialized experience (6+ years total): 2+ years analyzing Momentum Financials, including complex technical, acquisition, and cost parameters.
  • 2+ years with Momentum software lifecycle management (requirements gathering, configuration management, testing, upgrades).
  • 1+ year resolving FISCAM audit NFRs.
  • 1+ year performing SAR reviews on SSAE 18.
  • Experience coordinating across diverse financial stakeholders in the DoD or IC.
  • Strong knowledge of federal financial systems architecture and lifecycle processes.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while supporting cross-functional teams.
