Financial Systems Administrator
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Financial Systems Administrator to support and optimize our financial systems, primarily within Sage Intacct (training and onboarding provided). The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting and finance background with at least two years of experience and a proven ability to interpret complex financial data. This role bridges finance and technology—requiring someone who can apply financial expertise while ensuring systems operate efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with business needs. Candidates should also have a general understanding of Salesforce, particularly within nonprofit-related areas such as MPSP, Nonprofit Cloud, Events, Service, and Marketing modules, along with familiarity in API integrations. > Note: This is not a traditional financial analyst role. It blends Sage Intacct system administration, a high proficiency in accounting, strong analytical ability, and familiarity with Salesforce nonprofit modules and financial system integrations. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between accounting operations and technology, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency across platforms.
Requirements
- Accounting degree highly preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of strong accounting and financial analysis experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financial ERPs or accounting systems; any ERP experience is acceptable.
- General understanding of Salesforce nonprofit environments, including MPSP, Nonprofit Cloud, Events, Service, and Marketing modules.
- Familiarity with API integrations and Subledger/Kays Management concepts.
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and support financial ERP systems, ensuring releases and integrations are up to date.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting and finance teams to align system functionality with business needs.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Monitor data integrity and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
- Coordinate with Salesforce contacts (specific to Sage Intacct) to support related integrations and updates.
