The Financial Solutions Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, and meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals and recommend products. The position requires applying and expanding knowledge by completing necessary licenses and trainings. This role may involve residential mortgage loan provision and is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including a background check. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs and recommending solutions
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client's interest in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Works with clients to plan their short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
  • Recommends banking and investments strategies that align with client financial goals and needs
  • Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities
  • Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
