About The Position

The Financial Services Representative at Scott Credit Union is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service and financial solutions to members. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of customer service experience
  • Personal computer experience, including Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

  • Identify, educate, present, and cross-sell SCU products and services to new and existing members.
  • Meet individual sales and operational goals while assisting the branch team in achieving branch goals.
  • Recognize cross-sale opportunities through needs-based financial conversations and refer members to mortgage, business lending/services, and investments.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of SCU's member engagement model using technology, including tablets and enhanced ATMs.
  • Process financial transactions for members, including opening and closing accounts, deposits, and withdrawals.
  • Input, review, negotiate, and close member loan application requests.
  • Provide various services for members in person, by telephone, or by mail, including processing deposits and disbursing cash or check withdrawals.
  • Balance teller terminal close reports and remit daily work to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Comply with BSA requirements and perform required OFAC screens as outlined in the Non-Member Verafin Processing policy.
  • Investigate member concerns and recommend resolutions to ensure member satisfaction.
