About The Position

Financial Services Representative position duties include opening new accounts, establishing IRAs and CDs, issuing ATM/debit cards, cross-selling credit union products and services, and assisting members with lending services (providing general lending information to members, taking loan applications, and preparing loans for credit approval and disbursal).

Requirements

  • Candidates must have excellent customer service abilities.
  • A minimum of 1-year recent financial institution experience is required, preferably in a credit union.
  • Necessary skills include knowledge of basic office functions: IT skills (maneuvering around Windows, browser-based programs, and Outlook 365 email); strong time management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with tact and professionalism.
  • Eligibility to obtain Texas Notary Public commission is a requirement of the FSR position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with XP2 and/or Meridian Link is helpful.
