About The Position

As an unlicensed Financial Services Representative at Morgan Stanley, you will utilize your customer service skills and problem-solving abilities to assist clients with their stock portfolios through incoming calls. The role involves providing excellent customer service, educating clients about Morgan Stanley's offerings, and driving sales by identifying new opportunities. You will also be responsible for managing your time efficiently, learning about investments, and maintaining compliance with the company's Code of Conduct.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management or Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years' experience in a call center environment or within a financial institution.
  • Experience working on a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Previous experience meeting sales goals through work or internships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule (3 days a week in office).

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by identifying customer needs and determining the best solution for them.
  • Educate customers on Morgan Stanley's competitive advantage and identify additional products they would benefit from.
  • Engage customers and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Follow processes and manage your time efficiently throughout the day.
  • Continually learn about investments and the financial markets to address individual client needs.
  • Help identify opportunities to retain clients and minimize risk.
  • Maintain a high level of personal integrity and comply with Morgan Stanley's Code of Conduct.
  • Connect with other groups to gather information to resolve customer issues.
  • Participate in other projects and tasks as needed.
