Blue Water Finance helps dealers, who sell our Brunswick brands, provide Finance and Insurance (F&I) options to the end consumer. We provide a pathway for boat buyers to purchase and enjoy our products on the water. We work with lenders across the country to find the best terms for our customers. We are also partners with Mercury Marine, and we administer the Mercury Repower Finance program. We are seeking a Financial Services Intern to support Blue Water Finance operations. This role is responsible for processing loan applications using proprietary technology. We are looking for a candidate who is professional, organized, and a strong communicator. This position will be based in our corporate headquarters in Mettawa, IL.

Requirements

  • Rising Sophomore or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or business-related field.
  • Minimum of a 3.3 GPA.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Available for the full internship duration: mid-May to mid-August 2026.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe PDF, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all aspects of Mercury Repower Finance program, including application processing, communicating with our lender, dealers, and contracting.
  • Assisting with prompt credit application processing including accurate data entry, gathering information, pulling credit bureaus.
  • Following all procedures, maintaining appropriate controls per company policy to ensure data integrity.
  • Answering inbound phone calls and emails.
  • Researching and presenting a strategically important topic related to retail finance.
