As a Financial Services Consultant II, you will act as a trusted partner for our members, helping them navigate everything from new accounts to consulting on consumer lending needs to educating on more advanced products like Mortgage, Business and IRA offerings. This role is heavily relationship-based with a strong focus on getting to know members, understanding their goals, and offering solutions that are in their best interest. The Financial Services Consultant II also may serve as a Notary and provide peer mentorship to newer team members, giving you hands-on opportunities to expand your skillset and prepare for future leadership roles. The ideal candidate blends their strong financial industry knowledge and consulting experience with a collaborative spirit, effective problem-solving skills, and a clear passion for helping others achieve their financial goals.
Requirements
- Two years of credit union or financial institution experience required with prior consulting and sales experience highly preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Prior cash handling experience highly preferred
- Positive attitude and proven ability to drive sales through excellent service
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively is required
- Demonstrates strong aptitude to problem-solve independently and resolve challenges utilizing available resources
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time successfully
- Showcases strong collaboration skills and adaptability when working within a cohesive team environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
