As a Financial Services Consultant I, you will play a crucial role in helping our members build and maintain a solid financial foundation. This includes opening new membership accounts, consulting with members on consumer lending needs and educating them on available products and services relevant to their situation, researching inquiries and ensuring follow-through to resolution, and handling basic transactions such as deposits and withdrawals. Our Financial Services Consultant role is heavily relationship-based with a strong focus on getting to know our members personally to better understand their needs and provide tailored financial solutions that are in their best interest. The ideal candidate has a strong consulting and customer service background, a collaborative spirit and is passionate about helping others achieve their goals.

  • Open new membership accounts.
  • Consult with members on consumer lending needs.
  • Educate members on available products and services.
  • Research inquiries and ensure follow-through to resolution.
  • Handle basic transactions such as deposits and withdrawals.
  • At least one year of relevant customer service experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Positive attitude and proven ability to drive sales through excellent service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively required.
  • Demonstrates strong aptitude to problem solve independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time successfully.
  • Prior cash handling experience and general computer skills highly preferred.
  • Prior consulting and sales experience highly preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
