About The Position

The position involves providing excellent customer service as a telephonic concierge and primary point of contact for high-value customers at a financial institution. Responsibilities include addressing inquiries, performing account maintenance on deposits and money market accounts, and assisting customers with payment investigations and maintenance requests. The role requires collaboration with various internal and external clients to resolve issues and fulfill customer requests. Additionally, the position involves following up on service tickets, determining client needs, and ensuring service expectations are met. The employee will also complete banking transactions, market bank products, and maintain knowledge of applicable products and services. Participation in client loyalty processes and business reviews may also be required.

Requirements

  • General education (not a degree) or vocational/on-the-job training.
  • Skilled in completing tasks and applying judgment to unique situations.
  • May be an informal team leader for other support level roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service while serving as a telephonic concierge and primary point of contact to high-value customers.
  • Addresses inquiries and performs account maintenance on deposits and money market accounts.
  • Assists customers by initiating payment investigations, maintenance requests, fulfillment requests, and fee reversals.
  • Works with various internal and external clients and departments to resolve outstanding issues and respond to client inquiries.
  • Follows up to close service tickets and inquiries that were escalated or referred to a different business function.
  • Interfaces with clients to determine present and future needs and discusses progress toward solutions.
  • Ensures service expectations are met and establishes rapport with each caller.
  • Completes banking transactions and identifies opportunities to market bank products.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of applicable products and services.
  • Successfully sells, markets, and shares information with customers about financial offerings.
  • Provides referrals to the managing director or relationship manager for new services.
  • Participates in client loyalty processes and follow-up discussions to develop action plans.
  • May participate in business reviews to learn about clients' strategic direction.
