About The Position

The Financial Service Representative’s primary responsibility is handling all member service calls in a professional and knowledgeable manner. This requires the ability to cultivate and develop relationships, establish trust, recognize solutions that would benefit the member, and answer their requests in a friendly, efficient, and accurate manner. Position responsibilities include: Answer member service phone calls for the Credit Union by greeting members in a friendly manner, handling their transactions efficiently and accurately, offering them additional products or services when it benefits them, and ending the call in a polite manner. Provide quality service to members through various methods of communication including video, chat, message center and email. Perform requested transactions for members including but not limited to: answering questions, giving out history or balance information, placing stop payments on drafts or EFT’s, handling wire transfer requests, processing check orders, providing card, online banking, fraud/dispute troubleshooting, and blocking or reordering cards when appropriate. Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times. Develop relationships with the members who you work with on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have: Effective communication skills to be utilized by phone, in writing and/or virtually Experience in a service-oriented job Ability and willingness to learn quickly Strong computer aptitude Ability to multi-task Bilingual a plus
