About The Position

"People Helping People" It is what we do at Frontier Community Credit Union. We are looking for an experienced, member-service-oriented individual to fill our Financial Service Representative position at our Ft Leavenworth location. If you enjoy assisting members with their financial needs, we encourage you to apply and become part of the movement! If you are bilingual in Spanish, this is a plus, and we pay a differential. Our Financial Service Representatives provide exceptional service primarily through face-to-face, phone, and email communication. This will include receiving and resolving a wide range of financial requests and transactions for all share and loan products and services that support branch operations, such as opening accounts, processing loan applications, and handling teller transactions. Work Schedule (Work 40 hours per week) Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:15 pm

Requirements

  • Minimum two to three years related experience (Teller/Member experience, customer service)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and the ability to learn and navigate multiple technology platforms while interacting with members
  • Excellent member focus with an understanding of how to adapt to each member while focusing on the outcome to solve his or her problems efficiently. This role is not scripted and has a consultative approach to help the member.
  • The ability to multitask, working proficiently while conversing on the phone, searching for information, reading, typing, and quickly picking up new technology.
  • A preference to working in an ever-changing, fast-paced, branch environment where you can effectively manage time and exhibit reliability and dependability in attendance.
  • Emotional resiliency to manage feelings and find positive aspects in most situations.

Responsibilities

  • Providing prompt, accurate, professional, and friendly service to all of our members
  • Requires problem-solving when the established procedure does not fully address the inquiry
  • Adhere to compliance policies when resolving client issues
  • Preparing required daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Maintaining a dependable record of attendance and timeliness
