Financial Service Officer Lone Star Credit Union is searching for a member-focused, energetic and friendly individual for the Terrell Branch. The FSO will develop relationships, build trust, and maintain integrity with every contact, including Members, potential Members, and co-workers.

Requirements

Minimum of six months previous experience in a consultative sales position preferably from a financial institution. New account and general member service experience helpful.
Passion for building relationships and providing exceptional service
Ability to identify financial needs through effective communication (ability to listen, ask questions, and articulate response)
Ability to educate Members about and make referrals to LSCU products & services
Strong initiative and solution provider
Ability to multi-task
Proficient in utilizing PC, software, Microsoft Applications, and other office equipment
Fluent in Spanish is helpful

Responsibilities

Opening new accounts and performing account maintenance
Responding to inquiries and processing Member requests
Processing drive-thru transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers
Owning Member issues through resolution
Identifying Member needs and recommending product and service solutions to enhance financial well-being
