About The Position

As a Financial Risk Analyst at Westlake Financial Services, you will play a crucial role in the Business Strategy and Analytics division of the largest privately-held auto finance technology company in the United States, managing $18 billion in assets. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and data-driven environment, directly supporting senior executives and influencing corporate direction. Your primary responsibilities will include building models to support our automated consumer lending platform, conducting regular performance analyses of our portfolio, and implementing improvements across operational units within the company. In this role, you will analyze targeted improvements to the proprietary Westlake Buy ProgramTM, coordinating with various departments and managers to ensure timely and successful implementation. You will also research potential new target customers, products, and relevant models to predict performance, develop and monitor internal reporting mechanisms for management, and interpret results to recommend changes to corporate policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines. Regular preparation and presentation of findings and recommendations to senior executives will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, along with enhancing internal process efficiency using available technologies. Ideal candidates will possess 1-3 years of analyst experience and a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, math, or a related field, preferably with experience in a financial services company, particularly in the auto finance or lending sector. Exceptional candidates are characterized by their drive for excellence, attention to detail, and a desire for continuous improvement and productivity enhancement. Candidates must also be legally authorized to work in the USA without any need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
