Impact of the Role General Profile Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines Solves complex problems Works independently, receives minimal guidance May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment

  • Prepares periodic financial statements required for external reporting.
  • Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
  • Consolidates journal entries and financial accounts to be utilized in internal and external financial statements.
  • Prepares internal reports as required.
  • Researches accounting rules and regulations and makes recommendations regarding company policy.
  • May provide support and assistance to external auditors.
  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Business, Finance or accounting degree preferred
  • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Capital Budgeting. Month-End Close. Quarter-End Close. Regulatory Reporting. Year-End Close. GAAP Standards. Accounting Software. Financial Analysis Software.
