Job Summary Prepares and distributes periodic financial statements for users other than those directly employed by the organization | Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organization policies | Prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions and consolidates divisional and subsidiary financial accounts in a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements Impact of the Role General Profile Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines Solves complex problems Works independently, receives minimal guidance May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Prepares periodic financial statements required for external reporting.
  • Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
  • Consolidates journal entries and financial accounts to be utilized in internal and external financial statements.
  • Prepares internal reports as required.
  • Researches accounting rules and regulations and makes recommendations regarding company policy.
  • May provide support and assistance to external auditors.
