About The Position

The Financial Reporting Senior Analyst will work with various leaders within the organization to support the Company's financial reporting function. This role will assist in preparation of internal and external financial reports and utilize financial systems and analytical tools to build relevant and reliable reporting. The Senior Analyst will also prepare journal entries and account reconciliations on a monthly basis for key accounting processes, such as debt and shareholders' equity. The Senior Analyst will further coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide complete and accurate workpapers for key areas. This position will also support the review and tie-out of investor-related presentations and earnings releases on a quarterly basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of public accounting or financial reporting experience, preferable in a public company
• CPA preferred
• Familiar with FASB, SEC and other related financial reporting frameworks
• Experience in performing accounting research
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Attention to details, including regular follow-up on action items
• Ability to work in fast-paced team environment, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance
• Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize financial results
• Experience with Blackline, IBM Planning Analytics or a similar financial reporting software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages provided to financial leadership
• Assist in the preparation of the Company's quarterly and annual financial statements with the SEC (Form 10-K and 10-K) using Workiva and the SEC Reporting platform
• Utilize financial reporting software (IBM Planning Analytics) to prepare individual footnotes, supporting financial statement schedules, and internal financial reports
• Prepare financial statement variances on a monthly and quarterly basis and assist in the preparation of narrative explanations to management and third-party auditors as requested
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in support of the month end close process for key areas such as debt, stockholders' equity and incentive compensation
• Perform research over various complex technical accounting and reporting topics and summarize results
• Support the quarterly preparation of audit committee and management presentations including tie-out of results
• Review press releases and earnings presentation for consistency with external financial statements and prepare tie-outs to support amounts presented
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors related to financial reporting matters
