About The Position

As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you'll help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Company's financial statements by preparing, analyzing, and reviewing reports in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards, as well as play a key role in supporting audits, improving reporting processes, and providing insights that help guide business decisions. In this high-visibility role, you'll play a key part in delivering timely, precise internal reports and SEC filings that shape business decisions and uphold our commitment to financial excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong technical understanding of the general accounting and reporting requirements, including a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to anticipate issues and aggressively drive initiatives to achieve results
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team, including team members across multiple time zones

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of audit, accounting or other finance-related experience
  • CPA License is a plus
  • Experience preparing accurate and insightful financial statements and disclosures
  • Experience with SEC reporting software (e.g., Workiva) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and supporting the filing of periodic reports with the SEC, including Forms 10-K, and 10-Q, and other filings such as 8-K's, Proxy Statements, and Form 4's
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and accompanying footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as legal, accounting, FP&A, and internal audit to gather necessary information for the accuracy and completeness of financial disclosures
  • Assist in the preparation of internal reports and presentations for senior and executive leadership
  • Assist with the month end, quarter end, and year end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare detailed and timely reconciliations of general ledger accounts, as assigned
  • Research and document complex technical accounting matters and their impact on financial reporting
  • Manage and review the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging process for SEC filings
  • Identify and implement improvements to the financial reporting process, close process, and reconciliation process for greater efficiency and accuracy
  • Conduct variance analysis of actual vs. budget/prior year results and provide insightful explanations to management
  • Maintain timely communication with colleagues and leadership, including communicating all material financial reporting issues
