About The Position

Leonardo DRS is seeking a full time Financial and Reporting Analyst I. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work an in person or hybrid schedule. This role is responsible for supporting financial operations through the execution of administrative and analytical activities. The Financial and Reporting Analyst I will develop, maintain, and analyze reports to support program management reviews, corporate monthly reviews, and various ad hoc reporting requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to understand financial analysis principles and have financial analysis skills
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite)
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% as needed

Responsibilities

  • Assist team with various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis
  • Review, classify, examine and analyze data and records of financial transactions
  • Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets, and generate financial reports as required
  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation
  • Perform financial analyses and generate reports and recommendations for management review
  • Study trends and reports on depreciation, working capital, investments, rates of return, and financial and expense comparisons based on profit and loss statements and income statements
  • Identify and resolve routine problems as well as to prevent future problems
  • May respond to rate and budget questions and provide explanations to ensure management understanding
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as DFAR, FAR, and other government regulations
  • May participate in team efforts to improve functioning of the department
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Load forecast data into HFM/OneStream
  • Assist with creating and maintaining the 5-year FOP
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
