About The Position
The Financial Reporting Analyst position at the Florida Department of Transportation involves performing reconciliations of Department Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) records to State Accounts for cash receipts and disbursements. The analyst ensures that the Department’s cash balance aligns with State Accounts and notifies appropriate personnel of any issues identified. Responsibilities include reviewing trial balances for anomalies, assisting in annual year-end closing processes, preparing financial reporting entries, and providing assistance to Department staff in establishing new FLAIR accounting codes. The role also involves monthly reconciliations of various accounts and completing special projects as assigned.
