About The Position
As a Financial Reporting Advisor in Houston, you will report to the Financial Reporting Director and join the North America ('NorthAm') consolidation team in the monthly and quarterly US GAAP and IFRS financial closing and reporting processes for ENGIE's US and Canadian entities. You will support the Global Business Services ('GBS') accounting team in consolidations mechanics and account selection and the Financial Planning and Analysis ('FP&A') team's budget processes. You will also manage certain cross-functional support activities, such as the annual internal control assessment, IT integration implementation, and maintaining financial reporting tools. As a Financial Reporting Advisor, you will collaborate with NorthAm teams primarily located in Houston and Chicago and with ENGIE Group colleagues in Paris. US based stakeholders include the NorthAm GBS Accounting team, Financial Planning and Analysis ('FP&A'), Technical Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Insurance, and the Acquisition Investment Financial Advisory (AIFA) investments valuations team. You will also work closely with the ENGIE Group Consolidation team and Group FP&A. You will be a key member of the NorthAm Finance function and will work extensively with external auditors validating ENGIE's accounts.
