The Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for assisting in the preparation and filing of reports with the SEC, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and other filing documents. The role involves preparing various financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A in periodic filings and 401(k) plan financial statements. The accountant will coordinate internal information requests and prepare supporting documentation and analyses to support the financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures. Additionally, the position requires preparing Xtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging of financial statements and footnotes, working cross-functionally with various departments, and collaborating with external auditors during audits and reviews. The role also includes lease accounting responsibilities, maintaining information in lease accounting software, and participating in the monthly accounting close. The accountant will assist in technical accounting research and various ad hoc projects as needed.
