About The Position

The Financial Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for the periodic preparation of assigned regulatory reports including the coordination data requests with various upstream data providers. Responsible for performing preliminary review of provided data to assess overall data quality and working with data providers to resolve identified data issues. This individual will be instrumental in improving the accuracy of regulatory reporting information in addition to the identification and implementation of process improvements to improve overall regulatory reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent).
• 3+ Years experience in financial analysis, regulatory reporting, or related roles.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of financial regulatory reporting guidelines (FFIEC, FDIC, OCC and FRB).
• Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and interpret regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and standards, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process source input files from upstream business owners for input and processing within the Adenza regulatory reporting platform.
• Review Adenza edit checks and perform required follow-up with business owners to resolve.
• Document identified data quality issues after obtaining an understanding of root cause through discussions with upstream data providers.
• Routinely complete required business process controls when preparing periodic reporting.
• Assist in responding to internal and external audit or regulatory requests by gathering and organizing requested information.
• Identify and raise inefficiencies and suggest possible process improvements where applicable based on knowledge of day-to-day processing of regulatory reports.
• Perform special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.
• Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
