About The Position

The Financial Representative Trainee position is designed for driven and self-motivated individuals eager to start a career in the financial services industry. This role is part of an Accelerator Program that provides comprehensive training to equip trainees with the necessary skills to sell Individual Insurance products and build a sustainable financial practice. The program includes self-study, hands-on projects, and mentorship, ultimately leading to a promotion to a Financial Representative role with a competitive salary and incentives.

Requirements

  • Meet all trainee program requirements to gain necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Obtain required insurance licenses prior to starting the job, with up to two attempts allowed for the Life and Health exam.
  • Pass the CRD/FINRA background check at hire and ongoing, with securities licensing required within 24 months.
  • Be highly self-motivated and results-oriented, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services industry, products, and marketing practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a comprehensive training program to develop skills for providing holistic financial advice.
  • Engage in classroom discussions and goal-setting sessions.
  • Gain direct sales experience in marketing Individual Insurance products.
  • Cultivate prospecting skills through personal networks, community events, and social media.
  • Oversee the completion of content, proposals, and paperwork for a seamless application process.

Benefits

  • Hourly wage of $16/hour during the trainee period (up to 30 days).
  • Promotion to Financial Representative with a $36,000 annual base plus unlimited monthly sales incentive.
  • $1000 bonus after successful completion of the trainee period.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Up to 15 days of vacation each year for regular associates working 40 hours a week.
  • 11 paid holidays in 2025, including 2 floating holidays.
