This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in wealth management and provides an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of personal financial planning, investment management, and client relationship management. You'll work closely with the financial planners and other team members to support the ongoing service of our clients, conduct research, special projects, and gain insight into a career in financial services.

Requirements

  • Rising senior pursuing a major or minor in Financial Planning, Finance, Business, Economicsor related field
  • Strong academic performance with a concentration in financial planning course work
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with financial planning software (eMoney) is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and interest in a career in financial planning or wealth management

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuit of relevant certifications (CFP®, CFA®, Series 65) is highly encouraged
  • experience with financial planning software (eMoney) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial plans, investment reports, and client deliverables
  • Analyze client data to help develop tailored investment, retirement, and tax strategies
  • Conduct research on financial products, investment opportunities, and economic trends Support advisors with client meeting preparation and follow-up
  • Update and maintain CRM systems and planning software Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain exposure to investment, planning, and advisory processes
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
