About The Position

The FP&A Manager for the Individual Division will lead financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting to support business performance, insights and profitable growth. This role partners closely with division leadership, actuarial, operations, and enterprise finance teams to provide actionable insights, ensure financial discipline, and support alignment between business strategy and financial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 4-7 years of financial analysis experience required.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) required.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) required.
  • Experience with ERP systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP) required.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years experience in the insurance industry (e.g. life, health, or reinsurance) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the finance lead for the Individual Division, supporting senior leaders in product, distribution, and operations.
  • Coordinate and drive the division's quarterly financial analysis, quarterly forecasts, KPI, and long-range financial planning.
  • Collaborate with business partners to evaluate product performance, investment in distribution, and expense allowables. Provide analysis of trends.
  • Reconcile and translate product data between transactional data and financial data to generate profitability impacts and measurements.
  • Support new product launches and strategic initiatives through financial modeling and business case development.
  • Strengthen FP&A processes, ensuring automation, accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial results.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise finance policies and controls.
  • Support Quarterly Business Review and other ad hoc tasks.
