About The Position
This position offers a unique opportunity to work within the Engine Control Systems organization at Collins Aerospace, a leader in the aerospace and defense industry. As a Finance Support intern, you will be working under immediate supervision to perform various support activities across multiple finance disciplines, including tax, treasury, accounting, financial planning and analysis, payroll, and accounts payable. Your role will involve data entry, recording and storing financial data, and assisting with basic financial calculations according to detailed instructions. You will also be responsible for sorting and filing correspondence related to financial inquiries and performing miscellaneous clerical duties as needed. Compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations on all finance activities is essential in this role. In addition to your daily tasks, this internship will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills in building relationships across different functions within the organization. You will gain valuable insights into the military and commercial industry, and have exposure to various levels of the organization, which will enhance your understanding of the business and its operations.
