About The Position

Associate focused on operating and enhancing existing real estate fund model, while supporting key portfolio management, corporate finance and other strategic functions. Works closely with portfolio management, asset management, accounting & finance, investor relations and corporate strategy teams, as well as our CFO on fund budgeting, financing and liquidity analysis. Responsible for ensuring accurate data flows between historical financials, asset-level forecasts, and fund- and corporate-level analyses.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, REITs or real assets, private equity, corporate finance or accounting.
  • Expert‑level Excel capabilities; able to work efficiently in large, complex models; highly disciplined with a reputation for “getting the numbers right.”
  • Strong foundations in corporate finance and accounting, including cash flow analysis, debt and covenant mechanics, and valuation concepts.
  • Clear communicator, organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working directly with senior leaders in a lean team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Real estate experience and familiarity with fund economics (waterfall and fee structures) are preferred but not required; must be comfortable ramping quickly on these concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Own and operate the existing fund model, including monthly and/or quarterly updates to actuals and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Manager, asset managers and accounting team to incorporate property level financials and valuations, ensuring accurate aggregation at the fund level.
  • Support preparation of fund reporting packages for fund LPs and firm leadership.
  • Track fund level cash flow, KPIs, and liquidity; collaborate with CFO on fund budgeting and scenario planning.
  • Monitor fund level leverage and debt covenants, support preparation of compliance materials and lender reporting.
  • Assist on new debt raises and refinancings, including analysis of terms, covenants, and integration in the fund model.
  • Support AI-related initiatives to improve forecasting, reporting, and investment analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of corporate-level analysis, negotiation of investor terms, and other ad-hoc strategic initiatives.
