About The Position

The Financial Planning Analyst (FPA) role at Boulder Scientific Company is responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support to facilitate data-driven business decisions. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Organized, able to complete work accurately and on-time.

• Experience in financial analysis for a manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Attend the daily production call and incorporate changes to the Daily Backlog Report and weekly reforecast.
• Produce, analyze, and communicate monthly variances with department managers.
• Maintain and update PowerPoint slides for management and board of director meetings.
• Collaborate with managers to gather data and provide insights for financial data and business processes.
• Support management with ad-hoc analysis as directed.
• Maintain and enhance financial databases and tools for better analysis and reporting.
• Leverage financial planning software to automate reporting processes and improve accuracy.
