Work with us and start building your career with purpose. Financial Planning Analyst Intern Are you curious about how businesses make smart financial decisions? Do you love analyzing data, spotting trends, and helping solve problems? If so, the Financial Planning Analyst Internship might be perfect for you! As an FP&A Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience supporting the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis. You’ll learn how finance helps guide important business decisions and gain exposure to real-world financial planning processes. If you enjoy working with numbers, learning new skills, and seeing how finance impacts a business from the inside, this internship is a great way to jumpstart your career in finance! Internship Experience: Orientation & Capstone – Kick off with a one-week orientation; wrap up with a presentation to executives. Training & Shadowing – Gain hands-on exposure to claims and adjuster workflows Intern Manager – Receive coaching, career feedback, and regular guidance. GiveBack – Contribute to the community through volunteer opportunities. Builders University & Events – Participate in professional development workshops and leadership roundtables. Networking & Buddy Program – Build relationships with leaders, peers, and a dedicated intern buddy. Hybrid Work – Work onsite in Raleigh, NC three days a week with remote flexibility the other two. New Grad Opportunities – High-performing interns may be considered for full-time roles after graduation.

Requirements

  • Current undergrad student working towards a degree in Business, Accounting, or another related field, not graduating prior to December 2026 or after December 2027.
  • You've got practical experience inside or outside of school or work.
  • Leader, you have demonstrable experience (group projects and/or clubs plus engaged in class)
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Proven team player who takes the initiative and works with others to achieve team goals
  • High-level analytical capabilities
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) plus you can learn new software or tools quickly
  • Experience using visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBi or Tableau
  • Ability to commit for 10 weeks (May 18 - July 24) during the summer of 2026, working 37.5 hours per week
  • Willing to live or commute to Raleigh during your intern experience
