About The Position

The FP&A Analyst at Lifetime Quality Roofing plays a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role partners closely with leadership and operations to provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision- making, improve profitability, and drive operational efficiency across residential and commercial roofing projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas)
  • Experience analyzing P&L statements and financial drivers
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, roofing, home services, or project-based businesses
  • Familiarity with job costing and project margin analysis
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Experience with BI or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Financial modeling & forecasting
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial models
  • Analyze revenue, margins, labor costs, material costs, and overhead by project, branch, or service line
  • Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses (actual vs. budget/forecast)
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance
  • Create dashboards and KPIs related to job costing, project profitability, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and project management teams to improve financial outcomes
  • Provide financial insights to support pricing decisions, bid evaluations, and project profitability
  • Assist leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives
  • Improve financial reporting accuracy, timeliness, and automation
  • Support enhancements to job costing systems and financial tools
  • Help establish standardized financial processes and best practices
  • Ensure financial data integrity and consistency with accounting policies
  • Assist with audits, internal controls, and documentation as needed
