MSIG USA is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Intern to support our team in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis. The role involves working with financial models, analyzing key performance metrics, and assisting in strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) and PowerPoint).
• Willing to learn financial statements and key financial metrics.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by gathering financial data and updating financial models.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis of actual vs. forecasted results.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
• Work with large datasets to generate insights and support business decisions.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial and operational data.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects, such as cost analysis, revenue projections, and process improvement initiatives.
