About The Position

As the Financial Performance & Proposals Manager, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, assessing performance metrics, and developing compelling proposals to support VerusRx’s growth and client acquisition strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Prior 3-5 years experience in financial analysis or proposals management. Experience within the healthcare or pharmacy benefit management industry strongly preferred.
  • Prior 1-2 years experience in a leadership role or supervisory function strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to balance multiple concurrent deadlines and independently balance workload.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and pricing structures, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards to track key metrics.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Lead end‑to-end development of proposals for prospective and existing PBM clients, including RFPs, RFIs, BAFO submissions, financial requests, client questionnaires, and renewal documents, leveraging financial analysis and insights to support pricing strategies and value propositions.
  • Analyze proposal requirements, develop response outlines, and create customized and compliant written content aligned with each prospect’s objectives.
  • Write, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with messaging and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial projections and operational capabilities outlined in proposals.
  • Work with Account Management and other internal departments to assess the financial performance of existing programs, contracts, and partnerships to identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Work closely with operational teams to evaluate the financial impact of proposed enhancements or changes.
  • Support client-facing teams by providing financial expertise during client meetings and presentations.
  • Address client inquiries regarding financial aspects of proposals, contracts, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain and update proposal content libraries, boilerplate language, and standardized responses in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Ensure proposals are submitted on time, complete, and tailored to reflect PBM capabilities and differentiators.
  • Assist in assigning and prioritizing workloads to balance demand across team members.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor 1–2 direct reports, fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and professional development, ensuring workload alignment, coaching team members, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement within the proposal function.
  • Assist in completing performance reviews, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback.
