We are looking for a Financial Operations Specialist who will be a part of Toptal’s fast-paced environment, where we set the bar high and work daily to push the limits when it comes to service standards. The ability to explain payment transaction details to clients is essential to ensuring business relationships remain strong and clients feel valued. Through your attention to detail and the emphasis you place on exceptional service standards, discrepancies will be resolved appropriately, and payments will be processed efficiently. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 3+ years of previous work experience with finance or accounting responsibilities.
• Experience with accounting systems, such as QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience providing elite customer service.
• Ability to manage time effectively and remain focused on deadlines.
• Able to create, improve, and manage process documentation.
• Experience with and passion for working with a technology organization preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

• Continuously remain professional in communication with internal teams or clients.
• Remain organized and see tasks through from start to finish with efficiency and quality.
• Use internal tools and payment applications to complete daily tasks and look for ways to better leverage resources.
• Assist with financial reconciliations, document control, and other basic accounting and clerical functions.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial operational processes to enhance scalability and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional service and uphold the Toptal reputation.
