About The Position

The Financial Operations Analyst role at SS&C involves providing specialized servicing to clients in the financial services and healthcare sectors. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years financial industry experience
  • Intermediate level MS Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide client specialized servicing to alternative product and mutual fund investors
  • Interact with shareholders, clients, and intermediaries via phone or email regarding product or account information
  • Establish and maintain accounts, set up intermediaries, or complete processing as needed
  • Complete correspondence with shareholders, intermediaries, and clients
  • Facilitate ACHs, shareholder wires, international and custody wires, along with reporting to custody/fund accounting
  • Reconcile and research money movement activity, trading, fund sponsor/wire house sales logs, and bank accounts
  • Review and research trading requests/documentation/email requests
  • Facilitate intermediary compensation including 12b1 payments, commissions, and other various fee schedules
  • Complete product setups within the transfer agency system
  • Complete reporting and data requests
  • Facilitate and research bulk trading requests and money movement with wire houses and custodians
  • Review and complete trading rejects/research with intermediaries
  • Quality review various facets of transfer agency trading, reconciliation, and system setups
  • Review/ownership of daily, weekly, and month control reports
  • Review regulatory requirements, assist in tax reporting, and escheatment processing
  • Establish procedures, project plans, and coordinate work as needed between transfer agency teams
  • Work with various transfer agency systems to enhance processes and create automation as needed
