Job Summary Seeking a Financial Officer for a sales focused role responsible for marketing and promoting all of the organizations core products to an assigned producer customer segment. The right candidate will be highly organized and develop an in-depth understanding of each customer/prospect's current financial position and operational plan to provide innovative and workable product and service alternatives and meet established sales goals. Focusing on service and retention by quickly and effectively completing requests and building holistic relationships with customers and prospects for sales, marketing and promoting of all company’s core products.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated influence and negotiation skills (loan pricing, loan terms and conditions)
  • credit analysis skills
  • knowledge of multiple agricultural industries to assist customers in financial decisions
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred in Ag Business, Accounting, Finance, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science or closely related field required
  • Experience in Lending, credit analysis and/or sales experience with a related financial services or agricultural credit organization required

  • serve as the initial officer to engage with both incoming phone calls and walk in traffic seeking new credit
  • discuss credit packages with Analysts and participate in consensus decision making process when appropriate
  • provide sound coaching and counseling to customers
