The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery (DLL) is seeking a collaborative, detail-driven financial professional to join our team as the Financial Manager for the Vermont Lottery Enterprise Fund. This position serves as a senior expert in Vermont Lottery financial management and plays a central role in overseeing fiscal operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate should demonstrate integrity, effective management of internal controls, and keen attention to detail. This position will: Supervise the Lottery accounting team. Perform senior professional work in maintaining accounting and financial records. Analyze financial reports, programs, costs, payments, and accounting processes. Oversee all fiscal operations for the Vermont Lottery Enterprise Fund. Ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles and standards. Provide functional supervision over multiple complex accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have: Strong background in financial management and accounting. Experience supervising accounting or financial staff. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a compliance-driven environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
