Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant financial management experience
  • An active Secret security clearance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Financial Management experience supporting a Government Agency

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the finance section
  • Timekeeping management
  • Prepare, create, format, and edit spreadsheets, presentations, and charts
  • Monitor and track the status of acquisitions
  • Utilizing Momentum and other software, conduct fund execution and tracking, contract invoice tracking, and Unliquidated Obligation (ULO) tracking
  • Explain Federal budget requirements, Congressional budget actions, and relevant policies, directives, and regulations to supervisors and managers
  • Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Prepare documents and justifications related to contracting, travel, and equipment
  • Communicate orally to negotiate purchases and to present technical information to a variety of audiences
  • Write guidelines and instructive information to users and reports that succinctly summarize information on budget and program requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
