Position Overview: The Multifamily (MF) CFO group within the Finance Division is seeking a financial professional to assist with MF business General and Administrative (G&A) Expense planning, forecasting and analysis. The hired individual will be responsible for planning and analysis, including providing timely, accurate and reliable financial management information. We are looking for a diligent, analytical go-getter to join our fast-paced and highly talented MF Finance team. Our Impact: Our team is a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group that oversees General and Administrative (G&A) expenses for Multifamily. We perform budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, cost management and analysis, and financial administration. The team produces regular and ad-hoc reporting, business reviews, and helps drive effective and efficient G&A management. Your Impact: Directly support our team and the Multifamily business customers across all aspects of the role. Support annual planning/budgeting and the monthly rolling forecast processes. Produce monthly results packages comparing actuals to plan and forecast with robust and insightful commentary. Provide analysis and insight into budget and spending activity, including recommendations to enhance operating efficiency. Review, analyze, and make recommendations regarding MF spend requests to forecast/budgets. Complete regular and ad hoc variance analysis and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • College degree (Finance/Accounting) or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Typically, 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting, budget preparation, and forecasting.
  • Ability to optimally interact with internal business partners while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using tools Hyperion/Workday/Tableau/Power BI/SharePoint preferred.
  • familiarity with VBA is preferred.
