The position involves providing direct support and assistance in configuring and using the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) System applications. This includes cross-checking and verifying Oracle databases and offering helpdesk support. The role requires analyzing data from various Government accounting systems and Program Contractor inputs to support training, data collection, documentation, and reconciliation of budgets and budget execution. Daily reconciliation functions for all Program Commitments, Obligations, and Expenditures are also part of the responsibilities, including interfacing with the Directorate's CCaR System and Defense Finance and Accounting System (DFAS) databases. The candidate will use standardized and/or specialized software as prescribed, review and validate Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs), and recommend remedial actions. Responsibilities also include reconciling and validating various financial documents, preparing commitment document packages, and supporting actions related to expiring or cancelling year funds and contract close-outs. The role requires preparing Upward Obligation Adjustments (UOAs), generating Corrective Action Instruction (CAI) packages, and preparing reconciliation reports to track actions completed and remaining. The candidate will also establish and maintain reconciliations of contracts and contractor invoices.
