About The Position

The Financial Management Analyst - Journeyman will support PMA-280, the Tomahawk Missile System Program Office, providing financial management and analysis for missile systems recertification and depot operations. This role involves managing a significant budget, analyzing program requirements, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in business, management, or relevant technical discipline.
  • 3 to 10 years of experience in financial management or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in program/project status tracking and schedules.
  • Knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS and military acquisition programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial support for PMA-280 Missile Systems Recertification and Depot IPT, managing approximately $500M annually across multiple budget line items.
  • Prepare inputs for budget exhibits, POM submissions, and financial impact statements.
  • Review all financial documentation for applicable impacts to budget and serve as the technical expert on financial matters.
  • Coordinate with multiple SYSCOMS on annual work assignment agreements and track each SYSCOM's obligation/expenditure planned vs actual financial performance.
  • Liaise with the BFM shop, Cost Leads, and program teams on funding planning and execution across the FYDP.
  • Identify and monitor all risks associated with the PMA-280 Missile Systems Recertification budgets.
  • Lead the continual process improvement and implementation of NAVAIR's Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT).
