FINANCIAL & INVESTMENT ANALYST
About The Position
This role reports directly to the CFO. Responsibilities include analyzing growth opportunities, providing financial guidance, conducting financial analysis, developing financial models, communicating recommendations, and developing presentations for internal justification and for the board. Required qualifications include strong financial analysis skills, research and data analysis abilities, critical thinking, excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities. Financial analysis and modeling: Develop complex financial models in support of corporate and commercial opportunities. Communicating and collaborating: Collaborate with operations, regulatory, commercial teams to develop investment recommendations, including c-suite and board level presentations that highlight opportunities, risk, returns and strategic justification for recommendations. - Strong financial modeling and valuation skills are essential. This includes proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools and knowledge of accounting principles.
- A strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and investment analysis techniques.
- The capacity to evaluate information objectively and make sound investment recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex investment concepts and reports.
- A meticulous approach to analyzing financial data and identifying potential risks.
- The capability to identify investment risks and challenges and develop innovative solutions.
