Purpose of the role To conduct investigations into various aspects of the bank’s operations and/or conduct of individuals to identify and address potential instances of non-compliance, fraud, misconduct, or other unethical behaviour, that harms or is likely to harm the reputation or financial well-being of the firm or may lead to legal and/or regulatory censure. Join us as a Financial Intelligence Unit - Risk & Control Specialist, supporting the delivery of the FIU’s global strategy for proactive, intelligence-led financial crime risk mitigation. The FIU Risk & Control team plays a critical role in maintaining effective governance and controls to manage and escalate financial crime and operational risks. In this role, you will perform controls testing, manage issues through remediation, assess audit and assurance findings, produce accurate management information, and conduct quality assurance reviews of Suspicious Activity Investigations. You will also provide clear, actionable feedback on policy and process risks.
