About The Position

Kforce has a client in Silver Springs, MD that is seeking a Financial (Grants) Analyst. Key Responsibilities: Award Setup: Review Notices of Award (NOAs) and confirm acceptance of all terms and conditions Establish internal grant accounts, budgets, and tracking tools Communicate award requirements, timelines, and deliverables to program and finance teams Financial Management: Monitor and reconcile grant expenditures to ensure they are allowable, allocable, and properly documented Track budget-to-actuals and notify program leaders of variances Process reimbursement requests or drawdowns in accordance with funder requirements Maintain complete financial documentation for audits Monitor matching fund or cost-share obligations, if applicable Project Implementation Support: Work with program staff to launch and manage grant-funded activities Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines Assist in developing work plans, spending plans, and project calendars

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of grant administration and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and expense tracking
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data accurately
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with program and finance teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
